Business Development Executive / Manager (Freight Forwarding)

Our client is a well-established company in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, providing end-to-end transportation and distribution solutions across regional and international markets. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Sales Executive / Manager to join their commercial team. They are located in the (West) – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by acquiring new corporate accounts within freight forwarding and logistics sectors

  • Manage and expand existing customer portfolios to increase revenue opportunities

  • Prepare and manage pricing proposals, RFQs, and tender submissions for prospective clients

  • Conduct market outreach activities to identify potential business opportunities across B2B and e-commerce segments

  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements

  • Monitor customer accounts, pricing structures, and shipment requirements to support commercial objectives

  • Maintain accurate sales activity records, pipeline updates, and account information within internal systems

  • Review freight rates and commercial terms to support profitability targets

  • Follow up on sales enquiries, quotations, and project discussions with customers

  • Prepare periodic sales updates and business development reports for management review

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related disciplines

  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience within freight forwarding / 3PL

  • Experience handling business development, account expansion, or customer acquisition activities

  • Familiarity with quotation preparation, tender submissions, and freight pricing structures
