About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator manages customer orders for cargo stored in a third-party warehouse (3PL). This role focuses on order processing, inventory coordination, and client servicing, ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment. This role focuses on order processing, inventory coordination, and client servicing, ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment and requires strong coordination skills, hands-on experience in logistics, and the ability to manage both operational and administrative functions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage customer orders for goods stored in the warehouse
Coordinate with warehouse operations team for picking, packing, and dispatch
Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding order status and issues
Ensure timely order fulfilment and resolve discrepancies (shortage, damage, delays)
Coordinate and ensure all delivery activities are completed within schedule
Handle shipping operations, including courier services such as DHL and FedEx
Prepare and process import/export permit declarations.
Ensure timely and accurate billing with all required supporting documentation
Update and maintain data accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to meet their requirement
Monitor inventory movement and ensure proper documentation and tracking
Support continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics processes
Perform other duties as assigned by the operations and warehouse management team
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse and logistics operations
Knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and customs requirements is an advantage
Experience with courier services (e.g., DHL, FedEx)
Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic computer and replying email is a MUST.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in import/export operations is an advantage
Possession of Declarant ID (Singapore Customs) is an advantage
