Senior Tax Associate (Contract)

Secretlab is an international gaming chair brand seating over a million users worldwide, with our key markets in the United States, Europe and Singapore, where we are headquartered.

You will be an integral member of our Global Finance team which maintains Secretlab’s day-to-day financial operations. Taking on responsibility for Secretlab's tax compliance, you will perform the relevant activities including tax planning, reporting, etc. In this role, you should adopt a process-driven and disciplined approach, collaborating with the Finance team to complete various projects. 

You will be part of a team that oversees the global financial operations of Secretlab and its collaborative programs with world-renowned brands, including Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organizers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit timely indirect tax, corporate income tax, and withholding tax calculations and filings for group entities across multiple jurisdictions.

• Liaise effectively with tax agents to support audits and ensure compliance

• Support all tax compliance matters, answering and resolving tax-related issues encountered by internal stakeholders

• Proactively evaluate and suggest process improvement activities to improve the overall effectiveness of the tax functions, ensuring effective tax governance and control

• Perform other ad hoc duties and projects assigned.

Requirements

• Able to commit to a 5-day work week, at least till Dec 2026

• Bachelor of Accountancy, or any relevant courses of study

• Minimum 2-3 years tax-related working experience 

• A keen eye for detail, self-starter and willingness to learn with desire to probe further into data

• Ability to work with tight deadlines in high-pressure environments

• Strong work ethic - systematic and meticulous

• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
