Lead, Business Development
ABOUT YEAHKA
Yeahka (stock code 9955.HK) is a leading payments technology platform listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. We serve hundreds of thousands of SMB and enterprise clients across Asia and operate at the intersection of payments infrastructure, software, and financial services — building the rails that let businesses grow.
Our international business is at an inflection point. We are building Yeahka's next generation acceptance solution from the ground up, targeting clients in Singapore and Hong Kong, with a roadmap into the entire region. This is a team that builds, ships, and moves fast.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Yeahka's international business is a strategic growth engine, which means the first clients we sign, the first verticals we crack, and the first relationships we build will define the shape of this business for years to come.
We are focused on a defined set of high-priority client segments: digital-first and AI-native businesses that move fast, have real payment volume, and need an infrastructure partner who can keep up. The person in this role will build the pipeline, open doors, run deals end-to-end, and bring in anchor merchants in each vertical.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Pipeline & Hunting
Own outbound prospecting across our four target verticals, with an initial emphasis on AI platforms and gaming companies in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Build and manage a structured pipeline using a disciplined BD process — from identification and outreach through qualification, proposal, and close.
Work from curated target lists but also bring your own network and instincts on where to hunt.
Deal Execution
Run deals end-to-end: pitch, commercial negotiation, internal alignment, and onboarding handoff.
Navigate procurement, legal, and technical integration discussions at digital-native and startup accounts where the buyer is often founder-level.
Collaborate closely with product and operations to ensure merchant onboarding is smooth and that merchant feedback reaches the right ears.
Market Intelligence
Feed back vertical-specific commercial insights (pricing sensitivity, integration requirements, decision-maker profiles) to inform our GTM iteration.
Stay close to trends in web3 payments, stablecoin acceptance, and agentic commerce.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience
4 to 6 years of B2B sales or business development experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have sold payments, fintech, or developer-facing infrastructure products.
Demonstrated track record of closing deals independently, not just supporting senior sellers.
Direct experience selling into or working closely with digital-native companies — AI startups, gaming studios, digital platforms, or SaaS businesses.
Experience working in or selling into Singapore and/or Hong Kong markets.
Skills & Attributes
Hunter mentality: you generate your own leads, you follow up relentlessly, and you close.
Strong commercial instinct: you understand unit economics, margin, and what a deal actually means to both sides.
Clear and credible communicator: founders and technical buyers at digital-native companies have low patience for rehearsed pitches.
Comfortable with technical conversations: you do not need to be an engineer, but you need to understand how payment APIs, checkout flows, and settlement work.
Genuinely excited by what is happening at the intersection of AI, web3, and payments. We want someone who follows this space, not someone who will learn about it on the job.
NICE TO HAVE
Existing relationships with digital-native and/or AI, gaming companies in Singapore or Hong Kong.
Experience with or exposure to web3 payment products.
Mandarin proficiency
WHAT WE OFFER
A rare opportunity to build a new business line at a listed company — with the autonomy of a startup and the infrastructure of an established player.
Competitive base salary and bonus structure tied directly to revenue closed.
Direct access to senior leadership and a short feedback loop between your deals and product direction.
A front-row seat to the future of payments in Southeast Asia: online acceptance, web3, and agentic commerce.
