Senior / Respiratory Therapist
The incumbent shall be responsible to :
- Provide respiratory care services to patients with cardio-respiratory diseases and disorders by assessing patient's respiratory status, recommending, implementing and evaluating appropriate therapy
- Plans, evaluates and implements diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to aid and assist the physician in the diagnosis and management of patients
- Responsible for the inventory, care and maintenance of respiratory related equipment and assists with the general functions involving the Respiratory Therapy Department
Job Requirements :
- Degree from a recognised school of Respiratory Therapy, preferably with Registration for Respiratory Therapists (Certification Exam)
- Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is preferred
- At least 2 years of adult multi-disciplinary critical care experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare workers and demonstrate a willingness to take on challenges, innovative and well-motivated to apply and share knowledge and skills
- Ability to work independently and be part of a team that is committed to providing quality, cost-effective and specialised care to our patients
