Customer Service Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Officer to join our team at IX Mobile Pte. Ltd. in the Orchard Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining our reputation for outstanding service. As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the frontline of our organisation, directly engaging with customers and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism, empathy and efficiency. This role is essential to our customer satisfaction objectives and contributes significantly to the overall success of the business.

Key responsibilities

  1. Handle incoming customer enquiries via walk-in, phone, email and chat with professionalism and courtesy

  2. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively, working towards first-contact resolution where possible

  3. Provide accurate information about products and services to customers

  4. Process customer requests, including devices complaints, orders, returns and account modifications

  5. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

  6. Follow established procedures and company policies to ensure consistent service delivery

  7. Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell products and services where appropriate

  8. Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues

  9. Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on customer concerns and service processes

  10. Meet performance targets including book-in time, call handling times, customer satisfaction scores and quality standards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally

  1. Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help and support customers

  2. Patience and empathy when dealing with challenging situations and difficult customers

  3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  4. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically when addressing customer concerns

  5. Proficiency with computer systems and comfort learning new software platforms

  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in recording information

  7. Team player mentality with willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment

  8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs

  9. Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential; strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm can compensate for limited experience
