Engineer (PCTD) - Ceramic

Role: Engineer (PCTD)

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Overseeing of laboratory staff in conducting routine testing

·       Training of new staff for testing in the lab

·       Upgrading of test equipment to stay relevant

·       Oversee work improvement projects

·       Ensure test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated

·       Conduct site testing in areas of pedestrian surfaces (slip resistance) and playground inspections

·       Preparation of laboratory testing for SINGLAS audits

·       Generate Sales Orders and Invoices

·       Purchase of Reference Materials for Equipment

·       Advise clients on test methods / procedures

·       Follow-up with clients / local authorities on test results. Advise next course of actions.

·       Introduce services to new clients

Job Requirements:

·       Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

·       Preferably with 1 year experience of lab testing with building materials, Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

·       Preferably with hands on experience with universal testing machine

·       Good communication, Teamwork, Good attention to details and problem solving skills
