Assistant Sales Manager (Automotive Parts) | Up to $6500 | Jurong #2209

• Work Location: Jurong

• Working Hours: Mon to Fri: 8:30am to 6pm

• Salary Range: $5000-6500

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross profit targets

• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and emerging automotive technologies to refine sales approach

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across new and existing market segments

• Lead, coach, and develop an inside sales support team, including KPI setting and performance management

• Oversee sales operations efficiency including order processing, delivery coordination, and customer service standards

• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to optimise inventory levels and reduce obsolete stock

• Manage supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and supply continuity

• Work with warranty and technical teams to resolve claims, returns, and technical disputes

• Support CRM and ERP system usage (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce) for sales tracking and reporting

• Ensure accurate sales reporting and data-driven decision-making

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive parts sales or related industry

• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems including ICE, hybrid, and EV components

• Analytical experience sales, inventory, and margin performance data

• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Excel (advanced), and PowerPoint

• Strong negotiation skills for B2B and high-value accounts

• Experience with fleet operators or large commercial accounts is an advantage
