What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will join the Gerontology cluster in the S R Nathan School of Human Developnent and will be expected to teach and conduct research in Gerontology and closely related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and teach courses under the Gerontology Programmes
- Support the administrative and internationalization of gerontology programmes
- Conduct impactful and community based research on ageing-related issues
- Develop and enhance gerontology programmes, including curriculum design and student mentoring.
- Engage with community organizations, policymakers, and industry partners to promote aging-related initiativesand Gerontology Programmes
- Contribute to university service, including committee work and academic events.
Job Requirements
- A PhD or equivalent in Gerontology, Aging Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in ageing-related research, teaching, or practice.
- Strong publication record and ability to secure research funding.
- Experience in curriculum development, programme leadership, or community-based aging projects is anadvantage.
- Passion for lifelong learning, community engagement, and public education in ageing.
