SINGAPORE, 7th January 2021 – Leading online job portal JobStreet is undergoing a brand refresh after 23 years. The company has unveiled a brand new logo and look to complement the benchmark-pushing features it is introducing to help Singaporeans and those residing in Singapore land jobs that matter to them more efficiently.
The new user interface on its website and mobile application now boast a modern look, punctuated with vibrant colours in a blue and magenta palette, and uplifting imagery. And when candidates and employers login to JobStreet, they can expect a more exciting and engaging user experience thanks to smarter tools and technology.
One of the most notable features is AI-Driven job recommendations for users to enjoy a personalised experience right on the homepage. Candidates will be able to see curated content containing recommended openings based on their preferences and recent job search activities—all made possible through machine learning and AI technology. This means less hours searching and more time shortlisting preferred jobs.
And because JobStreet understands just how dynamic lifestyles can be, the brand made no compromises in developing its Enhanced Mobile App, which offers a superior search experience anchored on these three benefits: Quick Search, Smart Matching, and Easy Apply. This allows candidates to apply on the go!
Improving lives through #JobsThatMatter
Founded in 1997, JobStreet has gone from one of the first online employment marketplaces to one of Asia’s leading job portals with local presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Formerly known as JobStreet.com, the brand has simplified its name to JobStreet, a shift that is also reflected in the new logo, and underscores the brand’s vision to provide greater value to candidates and employers beyond the online portal.
“With more than twenty years in the market, JobStreet has remained one of the most enduring and recognizable names in the job market. Our vision remains focused on improving lives through better careers, especially after a challenging 2020. By providing expertise and inspiration, we’re here to help solve the immediate job and recruitment needs that will shape the future of job seekers and companies,” says Chew Siew Mee, Country Manager, JobStreet Singapore.
In line with its mission to improve lives, JobStreet has been consistently providing empowering tools and technology that connect candidates and employers. This includes #WorkNow, a hashtag that candidates who are immediately available for employment can add to their JobStreet profile. For employers, Total Talent Solutions is an integrated recruitment ecosystem that helps companies win the best talent.

In Singapore, the brand refresh exercise was carried out around late December. Buses, taxis and trains are seen being decked in JobStreet’s new colours: Pink and Blue, with product messaging – “Jobs That Matter for Every Singaporean” travelling around the island. This further solidifies the company’s commitment to candidates and employers as their lifelong Career and Talent Partner.
For candidates, #JobsThatMatter represents the brand’s belief in every job that supports every unique passion and purpose, however one defines this, and wherever a candidate is in his or her career journey.
For hirers, this represents JobStreet’s determination to connect employers to the right candidates, whose values align with that of the company’s, so they can do the best work for the organisation.
Chew adds, “We strongly believe in the passion and purpose behind every job. With the transformation, our platforms will be even more customer-centric, more digital savvy, and more insights led. Other than making the whole job search process smoother and faster, the enhancements will also help connecting candidates and hirers with what matters to them most.”

Beyond the job portal, jobseekers and employers can turn to JobStreet’s varied resources to seek guidance on their job-searching or recruitment needs. Through whitepapers and special reports, JobStreet disseminates relevant market and employment insights. While initiatives like the COVID-19 Jobs and Resources Hub and #WorkNow to help jobseekers heighten their chances of landing a job during this time of uncertainty.
Since its rollout, the brand’s respective reports and initiatives have been hugely popular with employers and candidates—an affirmation of JobStreet’s thought leadership in the job market:
The brand has also recently revamped their career advice page and will continue to provide timely and relevant content through expert-written articles, market reports and country surveys that will keep candidates and employers on the pulse of job and employment trends, COVID-19 updates, and best practices.
“Jobs That Matter could not have come at a better time as we continue to recover from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Chew asserts. “Its message is optimistic yet grounded in reality, while remaining empathetic to the concerns of our candidates and hirers as we continue to support them at a time of global difficulty where every Job truly Matters.”
