How to become an Account Assistant
A bachelor degree in a relevant field is required to work as an Account Assistant. Working as an Account Assistant may partially satisfy the practical experience requirements in order to become a Chartered Accountant and progress to Accountant and Accounting Manager jobs.

Graduate with a bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or another related degree.

Complete an internship in the finance department of a recognised company.

Take the foundation programme administered by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Association (ACRA).
- 4.
Seek an Assistant Accountant job at an ACRA Accredited Training Organisation (ATO).
- 5.
Gain 3 years of professional experience while completing the ACRA program modules.
- 6.
Register as a Chartered Accountant.
