Front Office Executives set up the reception area, making sure that it is tidy, well-organised and equipped with the necessary materials. This involves arranging seating, checking reading materials and ensuring that everything is in place to create a professional and inviting atmosphere. They warmly welcome visitors and clients, addressing their queries, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel and ensuring that their needs are met promptly.
Tasks and duties
- Welcoming visitors and clients.
- Managing incoming phone calls, answering enquiries and directing calls to appropriate individuals or departments.
- Coordinating appointments and meetings.
- Maintaining the reception area.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as receiving and distributing mail, coordinating deliveries and filing.

How to become a Front Office Executive
