How to become a Production Planner
To become a Production Planner you typically need a bachelor degree in a relevant field, some experience in your chosen industry, and the necessary technical skills.
Earn a bachelor degree. While not always mandatory, having a degree in business, supply chain management, operations management, or similar fields can give you a solid foundation on the tasks required of the role.
Gain practical experience. Consider taking on entry-level roles within manufacturing or production environments. Roles such as Production Assistant or Inventory Clerk can provide invaluable experience that could come in handy.
