Talent Acquisition Specialists may use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage multiple candidates across various hirings.
Tasks and duties
- Writing job advertisements for posting.
- Reviewing CVs and pre-screening and shortlisting applicants for interviews.
- Interviewing candidates and endorsing them to senior managers if applicable.
- Posting job openings on different online platforms.
- Contacting candidates and scheduling them for interviews.
- Negotiating job offers and employment contracts on behalf of the company.
- Exploring different methods or avenues of recruitment.
- Maintaining the records of candidates not hired for future openings.
- Onboarding new hires.
How to become a Talent Acquisition Specialist
To become a Talent Acquisition Specialist, a bachelor degree in human resource management, business or management is usually required.
