Abundant Grace Presbyterian Church, formerly known as YIO CHU KANG Preaching Station, was founded in 1947. Church building projects were embarked on in 1953 to 1981. The Preaching Station was registered as a member of the Presbyterian Church on 8 April 1962 and renamed Abundant Grace Presbyterian Church. Through the labor of our founding pastors, preachers, elders and deacons, we are now a self-sufficient church with about 200 members.As the government is beginning to develop new towns in the area, we see many young families moving into the community that we serve. Reaching out to these new families have become our new vision.In addition to the long-residing elderly community, there are also many foreign laborers including Chinese nationals living in SENKANG. These people are also targeted as the group which we want to serve. Doing so is a challenge as well as new calling for us to carry out community outreach.
