Good learning environment for fresh graduates, but low salary increment and bad policies by management. The good thingsGood work life balance, I have never worked past my designated working hours, however, note that this might varies depending on the team you joined, I have seen other teams working on weekends non stop.
Depending on the team you join, the seniors from Philippines know their stuff, the software development cycle is mature and you really can learn a lot from them.
The challengesCommunicating with the management, note that this only applies to my experience in the Malaysia branch, some of the managers work remotely in Philippines while managing the Malaysia office, they introduced counter productive policies without experiencing the effects themselves, and any communication attempted is ignored.
There is no bonus, reason given by management quote by quote "we offer high enough basic salary" which is simply not true, maybe the comparison was made with local SMEs, but as a MNC which stock is publicly traded in Singapore, the salary range for software developers is humiliatingly low especially for those with longer job experiences, also considering their high hiring standard, if you could land an offer here, you could probably do better.
