Boon Siew Sdn Bhd was started in Penang by our late Chairman Tan Sri Loh Boon Siew in 1958. and was involved in the production and distribution of Honda Motorcycles in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore under a franchising agreement with Honda Motor Co. Ltd in Japan.Distribution of Honda Motorcycles in Singapore started in 1958 through a branch of Boon Siew Sdn Bhd. This branch was subsequently incorporated as Boon Siew Singapore Pte Ltd in 1977. In 1968, the Boon Siew Honda Assembly Plant was established in Butterworth, Penang. From then on, all Honda motorcycles distributed bear the name "Boon Siew Honda" as the symbol of outstanding quality and service to the community.
