A good organization to work in still.
The good thingsThere are often new challenges and it offers motivation to go work. There are mentors that are willing to lead and coach. You grow by learning more and do more with out scope responsibilities.
The challengesManage discriminations from the management. Despite putting in long hours to contribute, is never enough. If you are someone that can manage public relations, you can work your way up and do lesser.

    Not progressive or forward looking
The good things- Respect is given to each other - Work life balance is there most of the time for most depts - Company is pretty stable (some may say stagnant)
The challenges- Too much pandering to the top management for meaningless things - A lot of company culture activities that feel like school - Not really a flexible working policy or arrangement despite what HR tries to portray

The good thingsNone,if you are a performer, everyone treats u like a friend. If not, no one remembers you, as you probably will leave soon due to pressure from management
The challengesLack of support and encouragement. Management does not take constructive feedbacks as they only look purely as numbers. And not actual market/area situation.

Good environment, good boss, good work life balance
The good thingsThe environment was great, even when i am just a contract staff, the colleagues are wonderful. They are really great people. The company also play short songs to remind the staff that it is the start of work, lunch time, tea time, and end work time. They also remind the staff everyday to stretch at 3pm. My boss were the most understanding boss i have ever encountered. Working hours is only 8 hours each day Mon to Fri, which is really a good time span.
The challengesMaybe the challenge to fight for a perm role there. Understand that they do not have headcount. However if you need extra hand, can always propose for another 1-2 staff for the department.

A Place That Hard Work Really Pays Off
The good thingsIf you are lucky to be recruited into the team of a supportive and senior sales manager, big congrats for an opportunity to earn up to 6 figures income + yearly incentive trip + a lots of marketing campaign perks (iPad, 5 stars hotel staycation voucher, and etc). Great working environment and culture, supportive colleagues (in entry and middle rank) from different department. Various staff recreation events, and exciting marketing events (Gala dinner, premiere theater etc) throughout the year (imaging a night in USS, with free flow foods and beers, for Canon staff and invited guests ONLY!)
The challengesStagnant after a few years in the company. Difficult to jump into other department. Some paperwork and processes are inevitable. Not suitable for those who is lack of self-discipline. Need to ramp up the solution team in order to transform from hardware selling to total solution provider.

The good thingsA very structure company, every one knows his/ her role clearly. funds are allocated for individual learning and training. This learning fund can be a role related or personal related,
The challengesThis company needs to have more dynamic in terms of changes. In certain cases, they need to react very differently to make things happen.
