Decent working environmentThe good thingsFriendly colleagues if you are a good worker. The working requirements depend on the branch you work at. I've worked at two different branches, and both are slightly different in the way they handle things. However, CPF content are the same.
OT is rare, but you are paid for it as long as the officer in charge allows. This means higher salary sometimes, which is a nice bonus. Nice OICs will also make you feel like a part of the CPF family and make the place really enjoyable to work at. However, this depends on which OIC is assigned and which branch you are located at.
The challengesDue to the difference in work duties depending on the branch you are allocated, the work experience may vary.
In some places, you will need to shoulder more responsibilities compared to working in another branch depending on how much the officer in charge of the temporary staffs are willing to protect you when you make mistakes.
The other temporary staff are those that you will work the most with, other than your officer in charge. Thus, every month's working environment may change due to the change in colleagues, for better or worse.
