Low pay, limited growth under a family business, with poor location, & strict policies for lateness. The good thingsMost of my colleagues were helpful and hardworking. I had a good working relationship with the team and enjoyed collaborating with them。
The challengesHowever, the work environment was heavily affected by poor management and clear favoritism.
Accountability was inconsistent, and some employees were allowed to be unproductive during office hours without consequences.
Work planning and communication were poorly handled. Leave arrangements and handovers were often not properly communicated, leaving the rest of the team to cover responsibilities with little or no preparation. This frequently resulted in unnecessary overtime and increased workload, especially given the Saturday half-day working requirement.
The biggest concern is the lack of leadership and responsibility from management. Employees’ efforts and workload were not properly recognized or managed, and issues were often ignored rather than addressed.
Overall, the company would need major improvements in leadership, transparency, and basic team management to be a sustainable workplace.
