Nojima Does showed a genuine concern for both staff welfare and operational improvement. Their approach was a stark contrast to the environment at Courts — they listened, provided clear direction when needed, and treated employees with respect. It’s clear that Nojima has a higher standard of leadership, I appreciate the positive influence they brought during my time there.. but courts on it's own is terrible. and its first time an entire IT team can resign on the same day again, due to this old veg again
The good thingsA Good Team and working with other teams were enjoyable
The challengesmy experience with Courts had its challenges, especially in terms of internal processes and management at the local level under one unwanted old single veg with 0 IT knowledge , I want to highlight the professionalism and support from Nojima. The superiors from Nojima were understanding, reasonable

    Rigid Japanese culture
The good thingsThe work culture was good until the transformation towards a Japanese culture began. However the benefits are still pretty decent.
The challengesUnless you are accustomed to Japanese culture, you probably won't like working here due to the inflexibility culture here. Instructions usually is top-down approach and opinions are heavily devalued.

Always got new things to learn in daily operations
The good thingsthey give a good salary package for a Sales Staff and they send us to brand training which is good because you'll be learnt more on how to demonstrate different types of features to your customer.
The challengesHow to convince our customer to apply for In-house loan which is need to submit a lot of documents to process and some are need to access using their personal password to government websites. And if the customer loan application result are rejected then you will receive a complaint from them.

A company that is willing to adapt to current trends
The good thingsThe flexibility of work and open channels of communication in Courts is a given. Although it used to be bad, but management is willing to listen, make changes and adapt to the current working trends especially in being transparent to engage more employees. With support from HR, selected employees are being trained in leadership and teamwork skills and with a the right mindset, an employee can do well in this company.
The challengesThis company is a work in progress and there are definitely constraints and huge paradigm shifts especially in work culture. It is trying to push forward for an \"employees first\" core value but somehow that change is slow (but surely) coming. There is room for improvement in terms of decision-making and inter-department cohesiveness but all in all, it seems that the higher-ups are now aware of the current situation and are trying to make that change.
