    Good work-life balance
The good thingsWork is very stable and predictable, which is good for planning and if you want to have work-life balance. Good work will also be rewarded accordingly and there are options for staff training and development. Medical and dental benefits are also better than average.
The challengesIt is a small company, so you need to be proactive and self-motivated to learn and do well here.

    Administrative Department
The good thingsA few colleagues made my time there quite enjoyable.
The challengesPretty confused organization. Boomer mentality. Want to run things as a government entity but cannot make it. Why even have managers who don’t have people to manage?

    Lack of open feedback
The good thingsThis is a retirement job. This place is definitely for you if you have no drive or intention to climb the corporate ladder—just coast or remain stagnant.
The challengesCompensation is not competitive. Non-existent company culture and community—an office from a time gone by. There’s also the unequal distribution of tasks and the lack of regular and open feedback.

    Did not meet expectations.
The good thingsCheap food and parking.
The challengesNot transparent. Plenty of plans but equally plenty never come to pass because of lack of resources and organization. You have to double up.

No room to grow with such a setup
The good thingsConvenient location as very near to MRT station.
The challengesNo way to grow or move up because there’s no room to do so. Stagnant environment with very limited resources.

    Good work-life balance
The good thingsGood colleagues and decent increments/promotions. Management recognizes staff efforts and will reward accordingly. Work is also manageable and with good working hours. There are also many opportunities to learn from fellow faculty and colleagues on new technologies or innovations, if you take the opportunity to do so.
The challengesManagement can be a bit old-fashioned and overly cautious, making it difficult to implement new ideas quickly.

The good thingsOfficial working hours, 9 - 5:30. Variety of lunch choices thanks to the many food courts nearby, cheap as well. Casual dressing. That's about it, really.
The challengesDifficult reporting officers who made things irrational. They are not experts in their respective fields and as a result, slowing down new and essential processes. Plenty of micromanagement to go around. Orthodox.
