    The Institution:DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore is a specialized university for the digital economy, with a focus on computer science, embedded systems engineering, UX/UI design, and digital art and animation.Beginning in 1998, DigiPen Institute of Technology became the first school in the world to offer a four-year degree with a primary emphasis on preparing students for the complex challenges of creating real-time 3D graphics for games and animations. Today, our academic programs continue to provide a solid educational pathway for students looking to enter — and advance — the digital entertainment and technology industries as skilled engineers, artists, designers, and more.In 2008, at the invitation of the Singapore Economic Development Board, DigiPen (Singapore) opened as the U.S.-headquartered college’s first international campus, which today offers five bachelor’s degree programs, a graduate degree program, as well as continuing education courses for Singaporeans looking to change or advance their careers.     The good thingsWork is very stable and predictable, which is good for planning and if you want to have work-life balance. Good work will also be rewarded accordingly and there are options for staff training and development. Medical and dental benefits are also better than average.
    The challengesIt is a small company, so you need to be proactive and self-motivated to learn and do well here.

    The good thingsThis is a retirement job. This place is definitely for you if you have no drive or intention to climb the corporate ladder—just coast or remain stagnant.
    The challengesCompensation is not competitive. Non-existent company culture and community—an office from a time gone by. There’s also the unequal distribution of tasks and the lack of regular and open feedback.
