The best company I had worked so far
The good thingsPandemic really strucked hard to alot of industries and also enrichment industry however I feel very grateful to work here as I see some other people lost their jobs during Circuit Breaker. And I get sponsorship to continue learning my second instrument which helps to expand my ability to teach another instrument in the very near future. I'm happy to work here.
The challengesChallenges and good opportunities to learn how to organize yearly events which company believe it's a good exposure for our students to show their talents.

Had a fruitful and self-challenging journey with this school
The good thingsWhat spoke out to me was the inclusive staff culture, where people would reach out for help, as well as help give tips and train those that are newer or lacking in certain areas. So, not much to stress about there. Besides that, teaching students is a joy in on itself. It gives meaning to what I do and despite the hours, I am rewarded with a higher-than-average pay and the chance to make a great difference in the development of a child's talents. Very organised systems and structures in place, management-wise.
The challengesWork targets might be tricky to adjust with intially, but it is not unreasonable and gave me something to work towards, as someone who is pragmatic and prefers having certain goals.

    Well-paying part-time job with friendly co-workers
The good thingsEven though the job was a part-time one, the pay is decent and adequate. If one chooses to work longer hours, it is possible to make more than some traineeships and internships. Co-workers and other staff are easy to get along with and are very willing to help new-comers.
The challengesAs with many other admin jobs, the work can get quite routine. On days when fees and payments are due, the workload can get intense as well. It is also not uncommon to encounter difficult parents.

    Great place to challenge yourself
The good thingsChallenging, very fast pace, result oriented with transparent & unlimited salary ceiling. Recommends Positive Outlook I worked at Edvox Music School full-time (More than 3 years) Pros Challenging, very fast pace, result oriented with transparent & unlimited salary ceiling. Colleagues and managers are very demanding but also extraordinary people to work with.
The challengesJob can be stressful if you are at the bottom 10%. KPI KPI KPI - student's exam result! parent's expectation! student's performance! Salary are tiered, based on revenue. Same pay even if I hold a Master Degree with longer experience.

Productive and fast paced work place
The good thingsI learned how to multitask very well from this job. I was involved in event management, concert planning, sales & marketing besides the normal piano teaching.
The challengesToo many administrative reports and KPIs to meet. Very result orientated.

Besides teaching, Edvox gives me chances to organise concerts, events, outings for students; to play accompaniment for other instruments and also, to be part of the management team. A Place to Make you become a more well rounded teacher
The good thingsEdvox music school always provides teaching staffs to have a chance to learn second instrument to strengthen their exposure. Besides, being a teacher in the school, we are giving a lot of opputunities to do things other than teaching. For instances, playing accompaniment for different instruments, playing in orchestra and organizing concerts or events. So if you like to take challenges and can handle stress well, this will be a good choice for you.
