Always learning, growing and having a little bit of fun!
The good thingsSupportive colleagues, depending on the team you are allocates to!
The challengesA lot of systems and structures, but common in these organisations. As long as you adapt, shouldn't be a problem.

An organisation that has a profound impact on individuals by connecting them with meaningful jobs and careers. Help individuals discover their potential and build sustainable career paths that align with their goals.
The good thingsI deeply value how we are driven by a common goal, and a shared sense of purpose that unites us and pulls us in the same direction. This collective ambition is fostered by a deep emphasis on collaboration and respect, creating an environment where everyone feels motivated to contribute their absolute best. The organization also places a strong emphasis on continuous learning and development. This commitment to growth helps to retain our employability and ensure we remain marketable in an evolving landscape, positioning us for long-term career growth. This is a place where I can continue to learn, contribute, and make a meaningful impact. Perhaps the most impactful aspect for me is the incredible group of teammates I have the privilege of working alongside. Beyond their talents and dedication, there's a genuine sense of camaraderie and willingness to help one another. Whether it's tackling a challenging project or celebrating a success, the support from my colleagues is unwavering.
The challengesCreating a culture where individuals can fully disconnect and recharge without anxiety, and they return to work feeling refreshed and more engaged, ultimately contributing even more effectively to our collective goals.

A purposeful and supportive start to a meaningful career at e2i
The good thingsWhat I appreciate most about working at e2i is the meaningful mission and people-centric culture. From day one, I felt a strong sense of purpose—knowing that my work contributes directly to helping others navigate their career journeys. The onboarding process was well-structured, and colleagues across departments were warm, collaborative, and generous with their time.
The challengesLike many public-sector-linked organisations, some processes can be quite structured or require navigating multiple levels of approval. However, this also reflects the accountability and rigour of working in a mission-driven organisation.

Lots of internal conflict and management issues
The good thingsThe work given is not difficult to learn. Benefits and remunerations are good.
The challengesManagement likes to take your credit. If something goes wrong, it is the subordinate's fault. Seniority/hierarchy comes into play a lot. Internal conflict very prominent and politics everywhere. Mentally draining to work here.

    A Fallacious Hope
The good thingsStandard perks and benefits such as flexible timings, flexi-benefit and 3 types of bonuses. Nice office building but unkempt internally. Complacent — it’s the perfect place.
The challengesNot surprising — bureaucracy and politics. Deep-rooted workplace culture problems definitely hinder it as a breeding ground for innovation. Disappointment due to lack of transparency, contradictions, erroneous decisions and ungrounded assessments. Extremely slow progression and career development. Low trust in the HR / OD to show sincerity and care in helping and developing people. Hence, not exactly a favourable place to grow your career.

A progressive establishment with people centric management.
The good thingsA progressive and people centric non profit organisation with great team and friendly management! Helpful, people centric and fun culture. Ever compassionate and rendering extra mile to the needy (internal and external stakeholders) - bravo!
The challengesDiverse and marginalised customers in need of assistance for employability. Impactful mindset changes and skills upgrading may be a part of the solution?

    Good benefits, slow career progression.
The good things- Benefits similar to public service - Physical environment not bad
The challenges- Slow progression - Do more and get less recognition, do less but good at talking and "carry" more recognition - Management not willing to accept failure despite high turnover

    Blind to real problems
The good things- good welfare - flexible benefits - nice and basic office - some are nice some are inflexible - scary cult - usually people are nice lah - provide training opportunities
The challenges- no connection between different teams whose job scope are the same. - different leaders different style - confusing culture and leadership style - although it is non-profit org, but very much like a sales company - HR/OD is not reliable, so don't expect help from them - very VERY numbers driven
