Registered in 2011, ExtraOrdinary Horizons (EO Horizons) is a non-profit social enterprise run by deaf persons. It aims to promote deaf awareness, service accessibility, education and empowerment through courses, workshops, interpretation services, performances and other avenues.EO Horizons also aims to help Deaf better integrate into mainstream society and to be accepted for who they are. Revenue from courses, workshops and performances are used to maintain sustainability of this social enterprise.Through performances in song-signing, percussion and pantomime acts, EO Horizons also helps develop and support deaf performing arts scene in Singapore. By employing Deaf to execute service-learning projects, they gain self-confidence to overcome life challenges through their attained skills and knowledge and becomecontributing members of the society.
