    Global Airfreight International Pte Ltd. or GAI, in short, was established in 1970 in Singapore as a privately owned company specializing in air freight forwarding between Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia.What started out as a two men business operating out of Singapore’s old Paya Lebar Airport to Jakarta, is now the largest locally-owned air freight forwarder with branch offices in South-east Asia and Greater China.At the same time, we intensified our cooperation with more overseas agents and in 1984 we joined a worldwide network of cargo agents known as the World Air Cargo Organisation (WACO) to extend our geographical coverage.GAI’s vision is to be the “choice logistics solutions provider in the region”. As a step towards fulfilling this vision, we ventured outside of Singapore for the first time in 1987 when we set up Global Airfreight in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Over the next few years, GAI continued with its regionalisation program by adding more branches in the following countries:Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan and China.Today, GAI and her group employ over 600 fulltime personnel in 9 countries and 16 cities.Our VisionTo be the “choice logistics solutions provider” in the niche industries of aerospace, marine, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical industries within ASEAN region and greater ChinaOur MissionIn pursuit of Customer Delight, we always provide Quality Service

    The good thingsLucky to have good team members whom were cooperative and gave full support in my training. My hard work paid off by getting good increment every year.

    The good thingsEncouraging Management team - encourage staffs to take the leadership role and gives the opportunity for us to "grab" it Senior staffs are friendly and willing to guide you
    The challengesMinimal interaction between departments. BUT, understand as covid measures are easing, they are encouraging inter-department gatherings again. I am looking forward to it!!

    Good progressive company that is under apprecciated
    The good thingsGood colleagues with minimum politics. Management is having a listening ear but takes time to change. Progressive n good potential to go higher . Investing in various incentive schemes n training for staff
    The challengesDiscipline , especially in financials , that has the flip side of being too conservative . Some staff that has been here for a long time became obstacles to progress .
