Greenphyto was founded in March 2014 by Ms Susan Chong who is also the Founder and CEO of Greenpac (S) Pte Ltd, a knowledge-based company specialising in re-engineering, designing and distributing environmentally friendly packaging products and solutions.Greenphyto’s vision is to be the World’s premier Farms of the Future, enabling security of sustainable food supplies for nations, through innovative, automated and weather independent farming solutions.We recognise the underlying risks in Singapore’s present vegetable supply sources in meeting its growing consumption demand, which are overdependence on imports and land scarcity leading to low production yields. Low productivity is also a result of labour shortage, uncontrollable environmental factors and pests.Therefore, our focus is to deliver high scaled vegetable manufacturing capabilities, utilising fully automated proprietary technologies, and optimising land usage. Our production efficiency outperforms traditional vegetable farms with 100 times higher yields.
