Good place to learn, Horrible managementThe good things- Fast growing company so there are lots of opportunities to manage and launch new and creative projects
- Small, close-knit team who are willing to help one another, even if it's not within their job scope
- Opportunity to travel for some staff members (depending on job scope and role)
The challenges- High turnover rate
- After a senior staff leave, there's a chance of having to taking over the staff's tasks but still taking junior salary
- Employee benefits (such as Annual Leave) looks reasonable in contract but you may face a lot of resistance if you actually try to use the benefits
- Little to no work/life balance - everything is "urgent", normal to work till 9pm and then continue working till 2am
- Lots of management issues - tendency to micromanage, have to be a bit of a yes-man to work longer term in the company
