The company to end your career with
The good thingsBefore I get into details on how fantastic this organisation is, allow me to warn all aspired applicant on how tough the interview was. There were 3 phases: solid, liquid and gas. Solid - You will be tested on your fundamental knowledge, and how strong is your engineering foundation. Liquid - You are required to showcase your problem solving skills on situational problems, you will be assessed on your creativity and adaptability. Gas - You have to come up with a proposal and convince the interviewers. It can be any under the sky, you will be assessed on your ability to come out with something out of nowhere. As there will be tons of applicants yearly, results will only be released after 2 weeks of intense selection process. Congrats if you are chosen, but do not give up and do try again the following year if you are not. Now, we shall move on to the working experience in this company, which you all have been longing for.
The challengesThe hardest challenge is to think of what to be written here.

    Great company to work for
The good thingsEverything here is awesome! Healthy working relationship with colleague, plenty training sessions conducted to upgrade and update skill sets. Good career progression, yearly promotion. I would recommend my friends, uncle, auntie, grandfather, grandmother to work here.
The challengesVery good pay that entices you to spend more.

    Good training ground
The good thingsIf you are new to this industry or fresh graduate, you will learn lots of stuff not taught in school. It will be valuable if you intend to venture more in this industry. Nice colleagues who are there to help you and the occasional external trainings are the bonus.
The challenges45 mins lunch which is kinda rushed. But there’s 2 10 mins breaks to compensate. Some political issues depending on your department. Low pay rise yearly. Management still has the “backward” mentality so not much improvements over the years. Be prepared to climb 3 stories to work daily as there’s no lifts. Audits are terribly stressful.

    Great learning opportunity
The good thingsSystematic work flow, bosses who are willing to teach and share experience. Many tools in place to aid smooth and good manufacturing practice.
The challengesVery little guidance. You need to be self motivated and inquisitive to learn. Read up SOPs on your own to ensure nothing is missed out.

    Work life balance
The good thingsI have the work life balance. Working environment is good. All the colleagues here are quite friendly. No office politician among my department.
The challengesDifficult to make the changes in the company.
