A structured Japanese company that strives to keep ahead of competition
The good thingsTakes good care of employees, no pressure to stay back often and be forced to do unrewarding overtime work. Strong initiation from employees tend to be rewarded. Strong emphasis on team spirit. Tough yet challenging work environment.
The challengesCan take years for full-time employees to be promoted, due to the Japanese work culture and structure of the company. Tends to be a little unwilling to take on radical ideas.

rewarding if you're a people person and avid reader
The good thingshelping customers with their enquiries remains one of the fun parts of the job. interesting working environment with the potential to meet many different types of people if you work full time, staff discount and other privileges are also pretty attractive
The challengeslow wages, especially for part time/temp workers it can sometimes be physically taxing (EH. lifting boxes with stocks, bending down, standing up/walking for long hours)
