Flexi Working (Hybid) but unstable job security
The good thingsHybid work model/ Flexi Working. Cross cultural environment. Encourage self-empowerment to develop different skills.
The challengesHigh workloads as a Regional support role. Inconsistent communication across different business units. Job security issue - on-going retrenchment activities due to management decisions. Basic work benefits

Not an employee friendly company, too customer/money focused
The good thingsSome managers do exercise flexi working hours which can be good for working mothers but it really does depend on the individual line managers. Most colleagues are fun and friendly and they are the main reason to stay working in this company. Some benefits probably are considered above average (full medical coverage, panel dentist (with insurance company))
The challengesMost managers have no compassion (low EQ) and they expect you to work no matter your condition (even if you are sick). Low wages, no bonus, low pay raise. Most decisions are made from head office which sometimes will take days to get approved. No career prospect/progression if you're working as an admin. High expectation from local and head office management but not paid enough for the work put in

    Political and credit taking
The good thingsDental benefit. Flexible work schedule.
The challengesHighly political and beauratical corporation that should be reflecting a charity purpose. Quite a number of credit takers and those who do not possess true competencies. You tend to see teamwork as an "every man for himself" concept. Be wary of those lacking competencies as they would approach conversation in vaguely manner without an actual conclusion or by repeating other people's words or work. Do not expect good bonuses.

The good thingsExposure to new built vessels, platforms and conversion of oil tankers into FPSOs. Working for Global projects such as for UK, USA, Australia, Singapore etc. Learnt about latest Floating Liquefied Natural Gas technologies etc. Worked for Marine projects as well as offshore projects by obtaining different authorizations awarded internally based on experience.
The challengesExpanding/ obtaining new technical authorizations to undertake new areara are challenges and difficult to obtain even though company encourages to obtain more authorizations.

Nice Company with a little internal problem
The good thingsIt's a great company, with amazing technology and a very nice workplace that has in-house training facilities, a huge dining area for employees. It is amazing at how spacious the whole office is, and not forgetting a pool table to relax during the lunch break, while others can get a power nap at the Nap Pod.
The challengesNo comment. I leave it for people to find out about it by themselves. Nothing is better explained than personal experience.
