The good thingsI was recently placed by Merries Executive Search. Fongting is professional and friendly. She is dedicated to understanding my career goals and aligning my expectations for next career move. Also, I was kept well-informed throughout the application and interview process. After I was placed for the position, the recruiter continued to follow up with me on my well-being and progress in company integration.

Personalized approach, strong communication, thorough pre-interview preparation, strong network, and post-placement support have made my job search journey smooth and successful.
The good thingsMy recruiter, Jasmine regularly updated on the status of my applications, provided with detailed feedback after interviews, and informed about any new opportunities that matched my profile.
The challengesThe outcome of the interview took a bit longer than expected as the hiring managers were overseas but it was worth the wait as I successfully secured the position.

The good thingsThe company understands the importance of work-life balance and provides flexible working arrangements to accommodate various needs. This balance has greatly contributed to my overall job satisfaction and well-being. Close-knitted & lean-sized team fostering a culture of mutual respect and open communication, making it a great place to work. The supportive atmosphere encourages innovation and creativity, allowing employees to thrive and excel in their roles.
The challengesRecruitment is a high-pressure field with deadlines from clients. The constant demand to fill positions quickly and efficiently can be stressful, leading to a high level of job-related stress.

    Hard to please Boss
    The good thingsGood work-life balance
The challengesBoss is particular about email wordings. Though allows flexibility in work, Boss always like to call and check on work progress. Quite Sian. Furthermore economy not good now, less companies hiring.

The good thingsService is real bad. Call to ask about outcome of interview. But was told that client has not get back. They said they will revert once there is outcome. Wait and wait and still no response. Too lazy to call back again. Disappointed with their service level. I think it would be better if they can drop an email or call me back even if I did not get the job. As I was really keen on the job...
The challengesNeed to train their staff harder.

    Thank you!
The good thingsEver since I graduated, my previous recruiter from another firm placed me in contract positions for 3 years. It was a challenge to be shortlisted for permanent role until Merries Executive Search contacted me for an interview. The entire recruitment process was pleasant and I am updated constantly of the status. I am currently working in a permanent role with great benefits and lots to learn. I was also happy to know, they do not practice minimum months of commitment unlike other recruitment firms. A recruitment firm with that cares for both their client and candidates.
The challengesThe company is hiring recruitment consultants now and they are looking for individuals with great personality to join the team.
