Really depends on the dept HOD to build your team culture.
The good thingsGood learning opportunities, many trainings provided, generally staff are approachable and amicable. Good bonuses.
The challengesMessy, culture not positive, those who can stay will stay for decades. Those who can't accept the culture leave within a few years or even months. High expectations by ROs, pace there is not for those who look for comfort in a career. Political.

The good thingsGood overall package including salary, aws, vb, annual leaves, CIS, other perks and activities. Location is good, colleagues quite good.
The challengesIt greatly depends on your team and reporting officer. Some departments have good management while some aren't that good, career advancement may be affected by it.

if you need more income, work here
The good thingsPretty supportive colleagues (for some). workload is pretty high compared to the no of manpower available, so in a way, time passes by very fast.
The challengesdon't see much career progression. a lot of staying back needed to clear the admin duties. communication between peers may or may not be good (depending if you are likeable by your peers).

    Great Job Experience
The good thingsIt was my first experience in healthcare and I was assigned to the emergency department. My colleagues and seniors treated and guided me well. Very stressful and fast-paced environment but after 5 mths, it takes some getting used to with lots of patience and tolerance handling certain patients. Company provides training and teamwork programs. They do take care of the staff well.
The challengesThere are no challenges. Its just the stressful environment since it was the EMD. Just have to think fast on your feet. Mistakes are often made at first for all beginners but after 3 mths, its just easier to manage.
