Great entry-level peer support, hindered by inconsistent management and unclear growth paths.
The good thingsCollaborative Peer Network: The engineering level boasts a young, highly supportive, and energetic demographic. It’s an excellent environment for peer-to-peer learning. Solid Industry Foundation: A commendable starting point for fresh graduates or junior roles to gain exposure and build a foundational skill set. Unique Benefits: The tour allowance is a standout perk, though be mindful that budget adjustments may affect this.
The challengesLeadership & Culture Variance: There is a notable disconnect between general staff and management. Culture is not standardized; the quality of your work-life balance and psychological safety depends entirely on your direct supervisor. Ambiguous Progression Path: Career advancement is hindered by a lack of transparency. Promotions often involve shifting criteria and "fine print" that can make growth feel unattainable. Defensive Accountability Culture: The internal environment can be reactive, with a tendency toward "finger-pointing" and optics-management rather than constructive problem-solving when challenges arise

Hard working, loyal and honest. Humble enough to start at the bottom and work my way up
The good thingsA collaborative work environment where colleagues support each other, share knowledge and work together on projects fosters camaraderie and a sense of belonging.
The challengesLack of Technology One of the best things you can do is create a technology plan. This looks at your current and future needs to decide which technology is a priority and which can wait.

A place you can call it 'HOME'
The good thingsThe only and only good thing is tour allowance. Previous can say about bonus but now going downtrend.
The challengesToo much challenges you might face. Need to be a very good actor , like even you don't know anything , you just need to be there , then the machine will be recognize as done by you. Hard work is not necessary Treat your project manager well. Once they need you , you are important , once they dont need you , the sentences like "the company without you still operate" will come out. Super micromanage from management team Over Ot much = recently no job , why you always OT Less Ot = you seem too free right . everyday back on time.. So it good u can stay overnight there. Dont need to prove that you capable at there , the more capable you are , there more work load you have , chance of promote is lesser. Promote depend on ot and how good you take care of their golden eggs.

Good place for fresh and only for fresh
The good thingsNice place for fresh grads or any engineer wanted to step into automation design field. They have strong in house support to fix any mistake done by the fresh. Benefits provided are good, AWS, VB, tour allowance and etc
The challengesManagement level are really lack of management skill. They have to understand OT is not a way to fix everything. Work-life balance: Work = Life Your performance is reviewed base on how much OT you can contribute, monthly < 40hr OT will categories as not a good staff

    Poor Management and Office Culture
The good thingsDecent pay when add up with OT allowance. Young engineers here are friendly.
The challengesCompany will not appreciate your effort. You are required to deliver the tasks no matter what even shortage of manpower, insufficient resources or management problem. The worst is they will blame you for the delay or unable to deliver even the problem is not from you. Old workers and engineers here always take advantage of their seniority, suppressing the young engineers.

    Not worth your time
The good thingsMost of the people working here are decent. Bonus is decent to pass time.
The challengesTo be able to keep own sanity’s due to traditional way of working, tai chi, long service staff(yet most valued) mostly are waiting for retirement. Working effort is not recognised. Negative reviews are removed and challenged.

    Typical local company
The good thingsCan learn many things as a fresh grad or intern. More exposure to SMT/PCB industries requirements as you work. Friendly and easy going colleague and multi-national colleague. Much employee benefit as a local company.
The challengesStubborn working culture in department that passed down since many years back. Overtime and mc determines your performance rather than work efficiency and output. Enforce unnecessary overtime towards engineer on weekends leads to sacrificing employee’s work life harmony. Some managers there aren’t helpful towards their employee (good like playing ‘taichi’) more like passing their own sweet time towards retirement and some management tends to their own interest rather than employee.
