    Challenging but fulfilling
The good thingsThe colleagues and manager here are friendly, helpful and willing to share their experiences and knowledge to the new personnel. There was no hierarchy in this firms which allow people to ask questions freely without any restriction. When in doubt just ask!! (does not care whether the questions is stupid). Able to gain a lot of knowledge as auditor will be handling a lot of jobs from planning till completion. However, the management level was not up to standard in terms of scheduling of jobs (tends to overload the auditors when there was lack of manpower), Welfare was quite minimal and they only focus on end results not the process (Appraisal was not transparent enough).
The challengesMust always OT to complete jobs due to lack of manpower. (no work life balance) No off peak period. Rushing to complete the jobs. High learning curve as you will get to expose to different industries. Lot of administration work which take up a lot of your time. Suggestions Management should try to reduce unnecessary administration work which allow us to focus more on improving the quality of the audit work. Management should not promise any clients in regards to the deadline for any audit work without consulting the team members as it might compromise the quality of the audit work due to lack of time. The company should have a separate HR department for employees to voice up their concern as the current HR department was being controlled by the family members of the firm.
