    The good thingsManaged and run projects while allowing you to get involved in activities and events hence giving you the exposure of cross-functional departments. The CEO is approachable as he encourages to propose your own developmental project in the spirit to cultivate creativity and passion.
    The challengesThe middle management is working in a silo in view of personal KPI achievements. I felt that I have been reprimanded for contributing skills to sub-departments. I was told by two different superiors that I was good but often not contributing much in my own department.

    Low pay for low demand job
    The good thingsOperations staff are well treated. Operations staff almost zero overtime. Fantastic place to just farm. Supporting culture among collesgues.
    The challengesOperations staff don't dream of going to management. Management looks down on operations in the sense that they don't believe in grooming, only hiring management from outside. Management is very political, the 20 plus years staff just stay put and take a handsome salary. Hardly any opportunity for junior management to grow.

    The good thingsGreat environment! All the colleagues are very friendly and nice. Relaxed and fun environment that still teaches many things. Provided me a great experience to learn there along with many opportunities! It was my first internship and I was very nervous at first but the people there really made me open up quickly and comfortably! Definitely recommend working here! Thank you Science Centre for the wonderful experience :)
    The challengesIt did get a little fast paced at some times but it was easily overcame with the help of my colleagues. There was also some miscommunications on my own part that was also resolved quickly with the guidance and help of my mentors!

    Great experience and also get learn all various kind of exhibition.
    The good thingsThe good thing working as Exhibition Guide in Science Centre Singapore, get to know more friends. Handling kids is my favourite part of the job as they like to asked cute questions about the exhibition and handling visitors and share information with them and sometimes we even learn and share some information about the exhibits.
    The challengesChallenges working with this company not that stressful. It's how we handle together as a team.

    The good thingsThe supervisor did a very good work on how to build a great team. Gave the trust to do the job on the ground and help us through whenever in need. Excellent experience throughout the exhibition with the exhibition team!
    The challengesThere are many typical complain regard of the exhibition which visitor are not willing to understand but there will always a solution to explain specification what is happening throughout the exhibition. Difficult customer complain is where we gain more experience to handle such.

    Great environment to make friends and learn science !
    The good thingsYou get to interact with the exhibitors and customers (mostly kids) alike. Great opportunity to gain experience in the customer service line. Very good environment to work in as it is not boring and there will always be new experiments and exhibitions. Provide good halal western food and walking distance to mrt.
    The challengesMust be patient with children and the place can be extremely noisy and crowded especially during school holidays and public holidays. Quite low salary for part timers.
