    great colleague and boss
The good thingsthe whole company have a very good culture, it is like a big family everyone is respectful to each other. In the IT department, my manager and director open up to listen to us, and will consider our suggestion and try to improve.
The challengescommunication throughout all departments could be improve further. Maybe a standard rule of enforcement needs to be in place.

Decent working environment generally, but require to work overtime usually.
The good thingsGood colleagues that maintain a friendly and professional behavior (save for a few of course). Workplace location (Duxton Hill) close to Maxwell Food Centre and Tanjong Pagar Food Centre and MRT.
The challengesVery bad on-job training given, not really for fresh/entry level candidates. Tend to ask to learn on own by initiative which is difficult if you don't have much experience in the shipping industry. Jobscope tends to go beyond and require you to work longer due to delays and disputes from colleagues and/or vendors/suppliers; salary doesn't fairly compensate the amount of work you need to do.

Starting pay is low, double digit yearly increment is extremely common yet usually one person is handling work meant for 2 people
The good thingsYearly company performance bonus but not more than 3 months. More than likely less than 2 months.
The challengesPay and jobscope does not match, often required to work outside of jobscope. On the job training is pretty much you on your own, not much information given
