Real action is needed instead of 'lips service'.
The good thingsGreat potential, but real action is needed from management
The challengesManagement often talks about appreciating staff, but unfortunately, it rarely goes beyond words. Poor planning, unclear direction, and limited support from the top make the working environment stressful. High turnover is common, as many employees feel there is little fairness, growth, or real development opportunities. The culture feels unstable and lacks genuine support. After joining my new company, the difference is totally clear! Here, management truly values people, with a structured hiring process, transparent communication, strong employee benefits, and real appreciation shown through action. If my previous company could learn from this and focus on genuine care, consistent leadership, and trust-based culture, it could truly become a great place to work. The potential is there, it just needs real commitment to make it happen.

    BAD Management- TOXIC CULTURE
The good thingsPoor management, they promote not capable management and just talk BIG only, no leadership at all. Promotion is never fair, appraisal is for show, increment has no basis, no appraisal, good appraisal, bad appraisal, no difference.
The challengespoor communication, no transparency, biasedness, must say nice thing and YES SIR YES SIR to get promotiion

    Promotion without the right competency.
The good thingsCleanliness of the office and the corporation of some colleagues
The challengesNo Team Spirit and respect and try to push away their responsibility and some are only talkers without doing their job. In the front of a whole team, Mgmt say no promotion but secretly promote without announcement. These promotions are based on likeness of the management and not competency.

SICK, no respect, trust & team spirit in Sales & Marketing team, Singapore
The good thingsCorporate in Germany MNCs culture. R&D product team in Singapore more collaborative culture.
The challengesIn the Singapore Sales & Marketing team there lack of respect that every cross functional team has its values for being presence. No trust between the Sales, Marketing and Application Team. You spend unproductive time responding to unworthy claims. Toxic culture!

    Fast growing and ambitious
The good thingsGreat opportunities to perform and get recognition for your work. A chance to work with multinational teams across timezones and borders. Flexible working hours and cooperative colleagues make it a stress free place to work and affords good work-life balance.
The challengesHandling multiple projects with similar deadlines and limited resources causes stress at some points during the year. Since it's a growing company, processes are still evolving which creates confusion at times.

    Great working place, work&life balance
The good thingsSICK is doing quite good in taking care of it's employees, keeps good pace of work and a life work balance. Making the top standard products in industry, promising and very competitive on the market. A lot of space for personal development, the company encourges employees to explore new knowledge and skills.
The challengesThe company is still growing-- pros and cons. The negative side would be limited resources and communication channels for now.

An awesome place for the adventurous and ambitious !
The good thingsA working environment that nurtures and brings out the best in every individual. The working environment is conducive and encourages creativity in all aspects. Colleagues are warm, friendly and helpful and ideas are shared across the board without any boundaries. Flexible working hours allow good work-life balance. Finally, the company continues to expand as more and more products are being developed locally.
The challengesA certain degree of language barrier exists and makes information and knowledge transfers challenging at times. Time difference from Germany also limits time for discussions with our German counterparts. Finally, it takes time to accept and learn the German way of getting things done.

The good thingsThe company provides a good working environment and empowers and trusts individuals which allows for creativity. The colleagues are friendly and helpful which creates a harmonious environment. The company cares about the employees and takes initiatives to ensure that any grievances are addressed. The salary package is good and the company has an expansionist vision for the next 5 years.
The challengesThe initial learning curve was a bit of a challenge as my job scope involved working and coordinating projects with our suppliers and the software team in Germany. The variety of products produced by the company also provides a technical challenge as it covers a broad area. Plus handling German documents and text was a real challenge!
