Unclear Corporate Strategy/ Direction and Organisation Structure
The good thingsAlways encouraged to suggest ideas - but you need to plan, coordinate and execute all by yourself. Need to beg for support or resources from other departments which resulted in people having CCAs. Plenty opportunities for hands-on independent learning because there is no proper guidance or mentorship as bosses are occupied with higher level projects and futile meetings. Family-like culture as you get to work with different people from different department. However the company structure is rather unorganised because different teams handle different products yet drawing the same pool of shared resources - result in no alignment between delivery of campaigns which may result in confusions to audience as well as merchants and partners.
The challengesTech and project teams are definitely too lean im size and competency in order to move EZ-Link forward as a business. Almost every enhancement request need to queue for 1-3 years. Management wants results but there could only be significant results when all enhancements are completed - eg operations bottleneck, business products, app features. Better induction for newly onboarded employees and more teambonding activities/ workshops. Set clearer corporate direction as there are too many focus and products and campaigns which consumers do not know what EZ-Link is heading towards too. Many still only recognise EZ-Link MRT/ bus card only. To have a clearer and stronger positioning.

    Super sour and salty management
The good thingsAside from transport benefits there's really nothing much
The challengesAll negative reviews on glassdoor are removed when management went to report, leaving only the positive ones. In general, not an ethical company and no career growth.

    Great Internship Experience
The good things- Friendly and knowledgeable staff - Good working environment - Very detailed training and assistance at any time when difficulties were encountered
The challengesThe instructions of the project are vague so have to self-study the new technology stack and business requirement. The product owner may change their requirement of the functionality at any time.

    A not bad experience
The good thingsWork life balance. Good benefits such as transport and flexible benefits and working hours arrangements. Encourage feed backs on how to improve the company. Frequent event held to empower staff in their work lives such as relieving stress.
The challengesThis company has alot of strict controls especially finance team. As it is a partial government company, it is subjected to strict internal audit as well as external audit.
