Toxic Culture, Lack of Professionalism, and Zero Respect for ExpertiseToxic, Unprofessional and Malicious Gossip After Departure: Even after I had resigned, I was shocked to learn that a senior team member spoke negatively about me to my former interns in effort to retain her as she is also resigning, 2 days after i resigned, questioning her with several questions that degrades me and claiming she “didn’t see any work done.” These remarks were not only disrespectful but entirely baseless, Especially considering I was never required to report to her in the first place my accountability was strictly to company boss. To dismiss my contributions simply because I did not report to her directly reveals a toxic mindset that invalidates effort and performance based on ego, not facts. This kind of backhanded behavior speaks volumes about the company culture and how it treats professionals even after they’ve left. The kind of malicious, behind-the-back behavior further highlights the toxic culture rooted in insecurity and ego of some co-worker.
Lack of Clear Direction: There’s no structured onboarding or guidance. I had to figure everything out on my own, and even basic tools or information were not handed over properly to the relevant departments. Was kept by the one that was dealing with it before i came in. Only to know she had them thru one of the meetings.
Undermining of Professional Expertise: Despite being hired as a Marketing Manager for my experience, my role was constantly undermined by individuals with little to no marketing background attempting to change strategic direction. Critical decisions were often influenced by personal opinions rather than data or expertise.
