Great learning experience/stepping stone but low salaryThe good thingsDepending on which dept you are in, the colleagues here are very friendly and nice to work with.
You will learn a lot here and placed in a lot of situations you are not prepared for. Solid learning experience over here.
If you live in the east, it's a very convenient location with many food options around (+ next to MRT)
Work life balance can be okay depending on where you are at. Generally decent.
The challengesLower than average pay for a local MNC.
High turnover rates here, through my time here, many colleagues have since left.
Not very good benefits (especially for contract staff)
Career progression here is very slow
New management coming in are tone deaf to their employees on the ground.
Upgrading opportunities are also minimal. You may want to spend your own money on training courses (keep in mind, this was before COVID ever happened)
No clear goals/objectives, related to above point of high turnover rates. Different people come in and have different priorities. Whirlwind for the people below trying to support these new priorities.
