Industry-leading projects supported by a collaborative and people-centric management team.
The good thingsWorking at Spectrum provides a unique opportunity to manage some of the most iconic, large-scale AV fit-out projects in Singapore. Being part of the Hibino Group adds a layer of global stability and professional standards that is hard to find elsewhere. The best part is the internal culture; there is a genuine sense of collaboration between the Sales, Project Management, and Technical departments. Management is approachable and truly demonstrates care for employees during personal challenges or medical recovery, proving that they value staff as people, not just numbers. It is a great environment for anyone looking to handle "premier league" projects within a supportive team.
The challengesThe AV industry is inherently fast-paced, and because we handle very high-profile projects, the pressure to deliver to a high standard is constant. It requires a high level of adaptability and proactive communication. This is a great environment for high-performers, but those looking for a slow or predictable pace might find the learning curve and project intensity a challenge.

    Welcoming environment with nice colleagues
The good thingsEveryone has been incredibly friendly and helpful, making it easy to feel welcomed and supported. The open-door concept with the director fosters transparency and approachability at all levels. I also appreciate the direct communication style—being able to speak with heads of departments without pressure creates a very open and collaborative atmosphere.
The challengesBig organisations have this common problem which would be: The tendency for work to be pushed around, especially when tasks fall outside someone's defined job scope. Lack of ownership: Tasks may be delayed or neglected because no one feels responsible.

When you are able survive from the challenges, you have nothing worry in your remaining life.
The good thingsSale department is the best department.
The challenges1. You will always face U-turn decision in less than 24 hours. 2. Sometimes MD treats you as adult, sometimes MD treats as baby. 3. Top management know how to protect themselves and sacrificed the member of own department or employee to make MD happy. 4. MD has a big vision/mission for the future, but always want the short-term return in every sale. 5. You must have enough pocket money to survive as you may get late re-imbursements for all expenses related to works. 6. The pay although paid on time by-law, but recently not as usual (end-of-month) as practiced in previous year. 7. You must remember the success is because of company, the failure is because of you. 8. You will face final decision is always made from un-related department. 9. Work-life balance is just a fantasy joke at here. You should know company pay your salary is for 24/7. 10. Whatever promised from any management level (especially MD) must be written down and signed off by every top management, else you won't get anything from the promise. MD will decline everything, and the worst (even have black and white) is MD will play the "word" game and decline you.
