St Andrew's Community Hospital is a service of St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital (SAMH). SAMH was founded in 1913 by Dr Charlotte Ferguson-Davie, wife of the then Bishop of Singapore, to meet the medical needs of poor women and children with no access to health care.Today, St. Andrew’s Community Hospital (SACH) continues that mission of shining light into the darkness of disease, pain and suffering by providing rehabilitative, post-acute and palliative inpatient care, as well as community care (outpatient clinic, centre-based rehabilitation and daycare and homecare).Working closely with the Government, SAMH constantly developed its services to meet the relevant needs of our local community at all times.Today, SAMH has under its operation:St. Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC) - providing special needs services to children and adults with autism,St. Andrew’s Community Hospital (SACH) - providing intermediate rehabilitative and medical care for the community,St. Andrew’s Nursing Homes (SANH) - SANH (Buangkok) provides long-term care for residents suffering from psychiatric illnesses. SANH (Henderson) and SANH (Queenstown) provide integrated residential care (including dementia care), centre-based and home care services for the elderly.St. Andrew’s Senior Care (JOY Connect) and St. Andrew's Senior Care (Tampines) - provides daycare, community rehabilitation, dementia daycare, centre-based nursing, integrated home-care services (medical, nursing, therapy) and community case management services.
