Nice working environment for ITThe good thingsI belong to AMITS ITO group, and it has been great so far. I can't speak for the call center operations though, but I know that a lot are benefiting from the Telus University Program. For the IT group, benefits are great, at least for me, and a lot of traveling and learning opportunities.
The challengesManagement should stop treating the AMITS group the same with the call center operations. Example, there was recently a house rule that we are not allowed to eat in our workstations. That may be applicable to the call center, but doesn't mean it should apply to IT. Same goes for the work from home policy. I can't understand why they are becoming more strict.
