Thomson Catering & Enterprises Pte Ltd has been around since 1969, serving the construction, manufacturing and petro-chemical industries. Started by a humble family, the caterer commenced operations on the oil-refinery island collectively called Jurong Island. Through the recommendation of faithful clients and by word-of-mouth, our family-run catering operations started taking on more projects.We blossomed during the infrastructural projects of the 1970s and 1980s when Jurong Island, Pulau Sakra and Pulau Seraya were being developed by JTC and EDB into a petro-chemical hub. (Most may not be aware that today's Jurong Island is make up of 7 small-islands).In 1998, Thomson Catering evolved into Thomson Catering & Enterprises Pte Ltd, a business corporation company.Many projects were secured which included Chiyoda Corporation, Exxon Mobil Chemical, Penta-Ocean Construction Company Limited, Chevron, Obayashi and Plant Engineering Construction Pte Ltd just to name a few.The ability to serve and provide a wider varieties of food & beverage choice to our clients enabled Thomson Catering to expand its business from catering service to restaurant & cafeterias management.Today, Thomson Catering is proud with our new central kitchen in Jurong (Jurong Port Road) and we are proud of new semi-auto food processing machines to help boost up our production-line in both food preparation and packaging process to meet increasing demand.The result - more efficient to cater to our all customers needs. Faster response time and shorten delivery time while meals stays warm. This is also in-line with NEA regulations recommendation of '4 hrs Timing ruling' under the food safety practices.
