The good thingsVariety of Work: I enjoyed that my tasks were always changing. One moment I was managing deliveries, the next I was setting up a meeting room. It kept the day interesting and fast-paced.
Interaction with Everyone: Being the person who helps all departments meant I got to interact with almost every person in the office, from junior staff to senior managers. This helped me learn a lot about how the whole company works.
Appreciation for Help: People were generally very grateful and polite when I delivered files, got tea, or ran errands. A simple "thank you" makes a big difference.
The challengesUnpredictable Workload: Sometimes the workload was very uneven. There were very slow periods, and then sudden, overwhelming rushes right before deadlines or big meetings.
Lack of Clear Instruction: Occasionally, I would get vague requests (e.g., "get the 'red file' from the second floor") without enough detail, leading to wasted time trying to figure out exactly what was needed.

The challengesAbsolutely no scope for BIM. Recruiting a personnel for bim but the people inside lack knowledge of bim and forces you to produce all the drawings based on cad. Absolutely no revit knowledge for the people inside. Timeframe given to produce the drawings in autocad is terrible. Expecting a revit produced output from cad. Imagine doing coordinated combined services drawing only in autocad. No revit model at all. Archi and struct model is way behind. Terrible if you would expect so much to learn bim here.
My only suggestion to the management, since you spend so much money in revit license, pls ensure its been utilised. If only cad drawings are gonna be used for shop drawings then recruit a drafter not a bim modeler. It’s different.
