Good place to being your logistics journey
The good thingsThe learning curve is easy to follow and the job allows you to learn the basics of the logistics industry! In my time with WPG South Asia, I have learned to handle jobs and tasks that were originally not within my job scope. I was even gotten the opportunity by the logistics senior manager to fly to Taiwan to attend a project management workshop and even learn how the logistics operations were like there!
The challengesThe dynamics of different tasks that were originally unfamiliar to me. Besides handling mainly shipping tasks and documentations, I was also tasked to create operations manuals for the warehouse processes as well as plans to further improve the level of efficiency among the processes. Communicating with the WPI offices in other countries were also challenge since different countries had varying work ethics as well as challenges they had to face.
