F&B is tough enough but.. it get worse..
The good thingsThere was a time where things were good, working hours is around 50hours, I have time to enjoy my hobby after work.
The challengesThe lack of manpower, the toxic environment, upper management of talk and no action, whatever is written in contract is thrown out of the window.

    Rewarding
The good thingsEmployer provided training for career advancement. They became innovative by introducing a new concept to the Singapore Market. They adapted a more relaxing and inviting ambience catering to professionals and customers who would want to relax in its more vibrant set up.
The challengesChallenges include manpower shortage. With this challenge, current employees will have a hard time coping up with stressful work environment due to added workloads. In turn, high employee turnover is expected, High MC frequency or sick absences were experienced.

    NIGHTMARE IN A DREAM'S CLOTHING
The good thingsWell-implemented training plans. Supportive trainers and managers. Work location within close proximity with other outlets so there's not so much problem when re-located to other outlets.
The challengesLack of staff has been the biggest challenge. Oftentimes you work more than 12 hours and cannot even go on bio-break. Most shift starts and ends with just one or two people working. You do everything from preparations till cooking till cashiering till serving till dish-washing till doing reports until you cannot breathe anymore.
