Centre Managers ensure the smooth daily operations of a centre. Unlike an Operations Manager who focuses on workflow policies and procedures to optimise company performance, Centre Managers focus on employee development and satisfaction, safety standards, and company activities. Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential for the role. Centre Managers work at business centres, call centres, educational centres, art centres, fitness and wellness centres, and nongovernment foundations.
Tasks and duties
- Overseeing daily centre operations.
- Setting and monitoring safety standards for a centre.
- Ensuring a centre’s compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Evaluating a centre’s profitability and making recommendations for optimisation.

How to become a Centre Manager
A bachelor degree and industry experience are necessary to work as a Centre Manager. Leadership and project management experience may be an advantage.
